Vidya Rao is an artist by soul, a philanthropist by nature and corporate professional by experience. It is the synergy in these domains, that has helped her to build a career over 25 years of corporate experience and expertise in varying fields such as Sports, Education, Music, Entertainment, CSR and Private investment. This has also led to her position as founding director of Happy Faces Global http://happyfaces.in/ , a consulting, management, and advisory initiative.

Using the understanding she has gained through leading several projects in the domains of Brand building, Marketing, Event management and Client relationships over the years Vidya offers unique consulting and networking opportunities to new age businesses through Happy Faces Global. Having worked with leading companies/brands such as Standard Chartered, American Express, Karnataka Bank and Waterfield Advisors and also having served as an advisor and executive assistant to the ambassador of Angola in India and Thailand, she is more than equipped to help companies navigate the start-up ecosystem.

Vidya also channels her passion by serving as the head of FairBreak Global Pty Ltd operations in India https://fairbreak.net/  which aims to ensure that people have fair and equal access to opportunities that enable them to succeed in their chosen endeavour. 

FairBreak uses cricket as its primary vehicle for change, and also creates opportunities in Media, Business, Art and Education to achieve gender equality. Her outreach to society does not stop there; Vidya is also involved in FairBreak’s CSR initiative, Solar Buddy, https://solarbuddy.org/ which aims to provide solar lights to children living in energy poverty. Vidya continues to make her impact on society through focused, determined and streamlined work in various sectors.
